Well, here’s the latest painting. An improvement over yesterday, but I think the impending doom of doing my taxes by hand twice (way to crap out on me, Turbo Tax) is fogging my observation here….

Anyway, looking at the image here, I think that everything works pretty well. There is something very difficult about drawing a rounded-corner cube that shows up here, and the far edge of the shadow should be a bit softer, but otherwise I think it’s relatively successful.
